Account & Data Deletion

How business merchants can request permanent account and data erasure

1. Right to Erasure

You have full ownership of your business data. If you decide to stop using Aarozi, you can request complete erasure of your business profile, staff accounts, customer lists, scan histories, rewards, and public hosted websites.

2. Self-Service Deletion via Dashboard

Logged-in business owners can initiate account deletion at any time:

  1. Log in to your Aarozi workspace at /app.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Danger Zone.
  3. Select Delete Account & Workspace and confirm your password.

3. What Happens Upon Deletion

  • Immediate Suspension: Your public website (/b/{slug}) and QR codes are deactivated immediately.
  • Recurring Billing Canceled: All automated subscriptions via Razorpay are immediately halted.
  • Data Purged: Your customer CRM profiles, points, visit events, and marketing campaigns are permanently deleted from our active databases within 30 calendar days.
  • Legal Preservation: Historical tax receipts and GST payment invoices are retained for 7 years as required by Indian financial and tax statutes.

4. Manual Deletion Requests

If you cannot access your dashboard, email privacy@aarozi.com from your registered business email with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and process the request within 14 business days.
